On Tuesday, September 22 at 6:00 p.m., we will hold a diaper wrapping event with Nashville Diaper Connection who provides diapers to more than 2,750 babies in need every month, which is still only 7% of diaper need for babies living in poverty. Without diapers, babies cannot go to childcare, participate in early childhood education, and many parents cannot go to work. This causes homes with more tension, less nurturing and possible abuse. The goal is to ensure that every baby has enough diapers to remain clean, dry and healthy. Following a short presentation about the program, we will wrap diapers that can be handed out in our community. If you would like to participate, please call the church office at 615-444-1360.
