New Covenant Community

FPC is about to embark on a new journey as we institute a second worship opportunity.

In August, the Worship Committee brought a recommendation to the Session to institute a contemporary-style worship service. The motion passed unanimously.

This worship service will be known as the New Covenant Community and will meet at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday in the Chapel. The service will feature a praise band to be led by Natalie Loader. Natalie is an accomplished musician with years of experience as a church worship leader.
This service will be promoted in the community as a new opportunity for worship in Lebanon. It is designed to appeal to younger members of the community who are not attending a church and who likely would not come to FPC’s traditional Sanctuary Service.
This new worship service will be promoted in the following ways:

  • a web site
  • direct mail
  • yard signs
  • feather banners
  • digital ads and media
  • flyers
  • newspaper
  • word of mouth

If you know of someone who would be interested in this service, please urge them to attend.

Most importantly, we need your prayers. We need you to pray that this worship service will be another way for people to come to God through First Presbyterian Church.
